Power Back on for Adams Electric Coop Customers

Laura Dotson with Adams Electric Cooperative says that power has been restored to all substations following an outage on five substations due to a transmission problem. Any customers still experiencing a power outage should call (800) 232-4797.

We are currently experiencing an outage on 5 substations due to a transmission problem. Substations impacted are Sugar Grove, Camden, La Prairie, Mt. Sterling, and Big Neck. These substations serve about 3,000 members all together. Members can view a map of outages on our website at: adamselectric.coop or by downloading our outage app called Power Pal. If a member is out of power, they should report their outage by calling (800) 232-4797, visiting our website or through the Power Pal app."
